In this role, you will build and scale high-performance web applications that power advanced autonomy development workflows. You will design intuitive user interfaces that visualize complex simulation data, real-time observability streams, and analytical insights. Working closely with product, design, backend, and autonomy teams, you will translate cutting-edge technology into reliable, user-friendly tools. You will take ownership of frontend architecture, contribute to engineering best practices, and shape technical direction. Accountabilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance frontend applications for simulation visualization, observability, analysis tools, and workflow configuration.
Lead frontend architecture decisions, component systems, and UI patterns to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Collaborate with backend engineers to define APIs and contribute to backend services using Go or Python when needed.
Translate product requirements and design concepts into production-ready, intuitive user experiences.
Optimize frontend performance, reliability, and responsiveness in data-intensive and real-time environments.
Strengthen engineering quality through testing, CI improvements, documentation, and code reviews.
Partner closely with cross-functional teams to continuously refine workflows that accelerate development velocity and reduce user friction.

Requirements

7+ years of professional experience in frontend or full-stack software engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend state management frameworks.
Proven experience building complex, data-intensive, real-time, or visualization-heavy user interfaces.
Demonstrated ability to profile, diagnose, and optimize frontend performance at scale.
Proficiency translating Figma designs or high-level concepts into high-quality production interfaces.
Working knowledge of Go or Python to support frontend features and backend collaboration.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative, ownership-driven mindset.
Experience with real-time systems, simulation tools, autonomy platforms, or ML-driven workflows is a strong plus.

Senior Staff: $185,000 – $278,000
