We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with a focus on front-end development to help build and enhance innovative educational products. In this fully remote role, you will collaborate with designers, product owners, and fellow engineers to develop high-quality, performant, and user-friendly applications. You will play a key part in maintaining software reliability, contributing to code quality, and implementing best practices while continuously improving and scaling features. Accountabilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain front-end software applications
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following current development standards and best practices
Participate in code reviews to ensure maintainability, readability, and performance of applications
Troubleshoot, debug, and prevent software incidents or bugs while providing timely resolutions
Continuously improve and maintain existing software and contribute to the overall product architecture
Support team knowledge sharing and communication by documenting processes and providing feedback
Work closely with designers to ensure accessibility and a high-quality user experience

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on front-end development
Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and frameworks like React (Next.js experience is a bonus)
Experience with HTML, CSS, and modern front-end development practices
Familiarity with back-end technologies such as Golang, Python, Django, and relational databases (PostgreSQL a plus)
Knowledge of cloud hosting services and CI/CD pipelines (Heroku, Google Cloud, Vercel experience is a bonus)
Experience writing automated unit and integration tests
Strong teamwork, communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
Knowledge of accessibility standards and design tools such as Figma is preferred
