In this role, you will lead the design and development of high-impact hardware systems from concept through mass production, influencing both product performance and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and manufacturing partners to create innovative, customer-driven solutions across a range of complex environments including industrial, automotive, and outdoor applications. This position offers significant ownership of the hardware lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies and system architecture to final validation and high-volume manufacturing. You will operate at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies including low-power design, wireless communications, embedded processing, AI/ML acceleration, and sensor integration. Accountabilities:

• Drive end-to-end hardware product lifecycle, from concept feasibility and system architecture definition to validation, certification, and mass production.
• Lead technical decision-making for EE architecture including chipset/SoC selection, power optimization, RF/antenna performance, thermals, sensor integration, and PCB design.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and customers to innovate solutions that address real-world challenges.
• Act as the primary technical interface with manufacturing partners, ensuring alignment, quality, and timely execution for high-volume global deployment.
• Provide technical leadership during prototyping, system-level debug, desense mitigation, and bring-up processes.
• Develop and enforce design principles, best practices, and standards to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and compliance with industrial and automotive certifications.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience shipping high-volume hardware programs with end-to-end ownership in collaboration with JDM/ODM partners.
• Strong expertise in low-power design, battery technology, wireless communications (LTE/5G, BLE, Wi-Fi, GPS), embedded processing, AI/ML acceleration, and imaging systems.
• Proven experience in systems design across diverse environments (industrial, automotive, outdoor) balancing performance, manufacturability, and cost.
• Expertise in product bring-up, system-level debug, validation, desense analysis, and performance testing.
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to align internal and external stakeholders globally.
• Preferred:
• Familiarity with industrial and automotive certifications (ISO 16750, AEC-Q100).
• Experience with advanced PCB design tools (Altium, Cadence Allegro).
• Knowledge of DfX principles, Design for Reliability/Testing, and Design for Manufacture.
