As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will shape technical strategy, influence architecture decisions, and help solve complex engineering challenges across multiple teams. You will collaborate with product leaders, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions using modern .NET technologies and cloud platforms. The position combines hands-on technical expertise with mentorship, strategic thinking, and cross-functional influence. You will play a key role in improving engineering practices, driving innovation, and strengthening technical capabilities across the organization. Accountabilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance across engineering teams, helping define and execute software development strategies focused on .NET and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, customers, and technical stakeholders to design solutions for complex business and technology challenges.
• Lead architecture and design decisions for new and existing systems, ensuring solutions meet standards for scalability, usability, security, and performance.
• Drive the adoption of engineering best practices, development frameworks, and modern cloud-based approaches throughout the organization.
• Utilize programming languages, databases, and Azure tools and services throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers and technical teams by sharing expertise, coaching peers, and strengthening engineering capabilities.
• Influence technical direction by communicating recommendations and solutions to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
• Analyze operational needs, resource requirements, costs, and forecasts to support technology planning and business objectives.
• Evaluate engineering processes, measure outcomes, and promote continuous improvement, adaptability, and ongoing technical learning.
• Support DevOps, cloud engineering, and operational excellence initiatives across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or in a related engineering role.
• 10+ years of experience developing software solutions using the .NET framework.
• 7+ years of experience designing architectures and technical solutions for new and existing systems.
• 5+ years of experience with DevOps concepts, cloud architecture, Azure DevOps operational frameworks, and cloud engineering practices.
• 5+ years of experience working with Azure networking technologies.
• Experience with open-source frameworks and technologies such as .NET Core, ASP.NET, Angular, or Express.
• 3+ years of experience leading teams, mentoring engineers, or managing technical initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, system design principles, and engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while collaborating across distributed teams.
