This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer in the United States.
This role provides a unique opportunity to bridge technical expertise and customer success by delivering tailored solutions that align with client objectives. You will collaborate closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to drive technical adoption, guide solution architecture, and ensure customer success throughout the pre-sales process. The role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business value. You will design, prototype, and present solutions while acting as a trusted advisor for clients. Accountabilities
Lead technical pre-sales engagements, including demos, proofs of concept (POC), and RFP responses.
Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer objectives, KPIs, and technical requirements.
Develop custom solutions using the company’s platform, integrating with client systems where necessary.
Translate customer feedback and technical needs to influence product development and best practices.
Build prototypes, sample integrations, and solution architectures to showcase technical capabilities.
Partner with post-sales teams to ensure smooth handoff and successful customer onboarding.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and thought leadership in search, discovery, and SaaS solutions.
Requirements
4+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Solution Architect, Consultant, or Product Manager, ideally in SaaS.
Previous software development experience with one or more technologies: Front-End (JavaScript, TypeScript, React), Back-End (Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective-C).
Familiarity with data formats, transformation processes, and API integrations.
Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and client engagements simultaneously.
Ability to distill technical solutions into clear business value.
Nice to Have:
Experience in the search, e-commerce, or SaaS platforms.
Familiarity with Magento, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, or similar frameworks.
Knowledge of emerging AI concepts, analytics, or SEO.
Spanish language skills.

Compensation: $144,000–$193,800 USD total on-target earnings, depending on experience and location.
