This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Voice Access in the United States.
This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying advanced voice functionality within scalable cloud systems. You will work on innovative voice solutions leveraging large language models (LLMs) to deliver high-quality, customizable customer experiences. The position requires deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud technologies, and software engineering best practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and infrastructure, to define the technical roadmap and deliver reliable, low-latency solutions. Accountabilities
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain robust voice solutions in a high-availability, low-latency cloud environment.
Implement and optimize features across the ConversationRelay platform using LLMs and modern cloud technologies.
Ensure operational excellence through monitoring, observability, alerting, and testing best practices.
Collaborate in an Agile environment to decompose complex problems and deliver high-quality, scalable software.
Participate in CI/CD pipeline development, automated testing, and release processes.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with business goals.
Requirements
5+ years of professional software development experience, including cloud application development.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
Proven track record delivering reliable, scalable, and performant distributed systems in production environments.
Strong experience with REST APIs, concurrent programming, and modern object-oriented languages (e.g., Java).
Comfortable working in Agile development environments and collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present designs, decisions, and provide constructive feedback.
Preferred: experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and distributed in-memory datastores (Redis, Memcached).
