One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Simulation & Emulation in the United States.

This role is a unique opportunity to help shape the software foundation behind the future of quantum computing. You'll work within a cross-functional engineering team to design, develop, and optimize high-performance simulation systems that emulate complex electronic subsystems. These systems play a critical role in hardware-software co-design and support rapid development of prototype and production-scale quantum technologies. You'll engage with multidisciplinary experts and contribute to the control infrastructure driving some of the most advanced computing systems in development today.

Accountabilities:

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance simulation software for photonic quantum systems
• Model and emulate electronic control systems and quantum measurement feedback loops
• Develop and optimize real-time signal processing algorithms for system calibration and operation
• Validate simulation accuracy by collaborating with hardware teams and analyzing experimental results
• Contribute to hardware/software integration through hardware-in-the-loop testing
• Participate in collaborative development activities, including code reviews, documentation, and architectural design
• Support testing, maintenance, and continuous improvement of control software infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience in technical or computational environments
• Proficiency in systems programming languages (e.g., C++, Rust, or C)
• Proven experience building simulation software and optimizing performance for compute-intensive tasks
• Solid understanding of electronic systems modeling, signal processing, and parallel computing
• Hands-on experience with hardware/software co-design, including testing environments and tooling
• Familiarity with scientific computing libraries and concurrent programming concepts
• Effective collaborator in cross-disciplinary teams with strong documentation and debugging skills
