Accountabilities

Design, develop, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable platform services for critical business functionality
Build shared libraries, internal tools, and APIs to increase developer productivity across teams
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while ensuring observability and monitoring of services
Mentor and guide other engineers, promoting best practices and elevating team productivity
Collaborate with stakeholders and engineers to define technical solutions, set engineering standards, and take ownership of the full service lifecycle
Continuously improve engineering tools, deployment pipelines, and platform infrastructure

Requirements

Minimum 6 years of professional experience designing, building, and scaling services, particularly on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Expertise in distributed systems, platform services, authentication, and notification systems
Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, with strong coding and software engineering practices
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with engineers and non-engineering stakeholders
Strong ownership, proactive problem-solving, and ability to lead cross-functional projects from start to finish
Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code, with a focus on reliability and scalability
Customer-focused mindset with empathy and attention to operational excellence

Nice to Have:

Experience with frontend development
Familiarity with observability frameworks such as Datadog or NewRelic
Use of AI tools to enhance development workflows
