This is a high-impact senior engineering role focused on building a next-generation trading application at the frontier of on-chain markets. You will help design and develop a 0-to-1 product that brings high-performance trading experiences directly to users on Solana’s ecosystem. The work spans low-latency systems, real-time market data, execution pipelines, and deeply technical infrastructure powering modern digital asset trading. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure and product teams to translate complex market mechanics into fast, intuitive, and reliable user experiences. This is a highly autonomous environment where engineers are expected to make key architectural decisions and iterate quickly based on real-world feedback. The role combines deep systems engineering with product thinking, requiring strong attention to performance, security, and user experience. It is ideal for someone who thrives in building foundational products from scratch in a fast-moving, technically ambitious setting.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will take ownership of core systems that power a new trading platform, building scalable, high-performance infrastructure that directly interacts with blockchain and market systems. You will contribute across the full product lifecycle, from architecture to deployment and iteration.

• Design and build core systems for a 0-to-1 trading platform
• Develop low-latency, high-reliability services integrated with Solana’s transaction and block-building pipeline
• Own critical components including order routing, execution logic, real-time market data, and position management
• Implement robust security practices across transaction signing, key management, and user data protection
• Collaborate closely with product and infrastructure teams to ship quickly and iterate based on user feedback
• Make architectural decisions as a key early member of the engineering team
• Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability in production environments

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced systems engineer with a strong background in distributed systems, low-latency architecture, and production-grade infrastructure. You are comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and enjoy building from the ground up.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong exposure to distributed systems
• Proficiency in systems programming languages such as Rust (preferred), C++, Go, or similar
• Proven track record of building reliable, low-latency production systems
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
• Security-first mindset, including awareness of attack surfaces, failure modes, and key management
• Familiarity with blockchain systems, especially Solana, is a strong plus
• Understanding of market microstructure, MEV, or execution quality is highly desirable
• Experience with trading systems, DeFi protocols, fintech backend systems, or exchange infrastructure is a plus
• Ability to operate independently and make decisions in a 0-to-1 product environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working with incomplete information
