Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Leading the design and development of large-scale user-facing features for web applications
Collaborating with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to understand user needs and improve product experiences
Influencing technical strategy, software architecture, and long-term product planning
Driving implementation of engineering best practices, code quality, and technical standards
Mentoring junior engineers and supporting knowledge sharing within the team
Advocating for solutions that balance user impact, scalability, and technical excellence

Requirements

Successful candidates will have:

5+ years of experience building software applications, with strong proficiency in both frontend and backend development
Expertise in web application development using technologies such as Node.js, React, TypeScript, Python, Django, and GraphQL
Experience with database management (PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Datastore) and cloud infrastructure (Docker, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Tasks)
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Rollbar, and Stackdriver Logging
Strong problem-solving skills, collaboration, and ability to lead technical discussions and designs
Experience advocating for engineering best practices and delivering high-quality code

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

Interest in marketing, social media, e-commerce, or content creation
Experience developing APIs and systems for third-party integrations
Familiarity with analytics products, CRM platforms, or marketing technology
