You will work at the intersection of product and infrastructure, designing reliable APIs, efficient systems, and cloud services that directly enhance end-user interactions. Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core SDKs and backend services that underpin cross-platform product experiences.
• Collaborate with product teams to scope projects, optimize integrations, and make trade-offs to accelerate feedback loops.
• Improve system performance, parsing algorithms, and abstractions to enable faster and more intelligent functionality.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and asynchronous jobs using Kotlin.
• Ensure APIs and systems are reliable, maintainable, and scalable, supporting high-quality user experiences.
• Mentor and collaborate with engineers, contributing to a culture of technical excellence and thoughtful problem-solving.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a software engineer delivering high-quality systems and services, with strong focus on core infrastructure and SDKs.
• Proficiency in Kotlin Multiplatform; Java experience is acceptable but Kotlin expertise is required.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and backend development, including building scalable and maintainable services.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to design end-to-end solutions with simplicity and performance in mind.
• Ability to work quickly, make decisions on trade-offs, and manage multiple priorities in a remote, high-growth environment.
• Excellent collaboration skills, including working with cross-functional teams of designers, PMs, and engineers.
• Focused, self-driven, and able to balance independent work with team engagement.
