This role offers the opportunity to work on building scalable backend systems that support institutional reporting, billing, and monetization frameworks for a high-growth digital finance platform. You will design and implement new products, APIs, and reporting tools while collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership to deliver high-quality solutions. Accountabilities:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems, frameworks, and APIs that support reporting, billing, and monetization
  • Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and leadership to translate product visions into actionable deliverables
  • Providing operational support for engineering teams and platform operations
  • Mentoring junior engineers and helping elevate technical skills across the team
  • Building high-quality, well-tested code that is scalable, reliable, and maintainable
  • Participating in architecture design, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, with significant backend development expertise
  • Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining production services in a service-oriented architecture
  • Strong coding skills, with a focus on high-quality, well-tested code
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, billing, payment systems, or related frameworks is a plus
  • Interest or experience in blockchain, crypto, or open financial systems is highly desirable
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
