Accountabilities

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will lead product marketing initiatives focused on market strategy, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution. This role requires strong consulting capabilities, client communication skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality marketing assets.

• Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies aligned with business objectives, including market segmentation, ideal customer profiles, buyer personas, messaging, competitive positioning, and launch plans.
• Create market research and product strategy documents, including market requirements documents (MRDs), competitive analysis, customer insights, pricing considerations, and channel strategies.
• Build messaging frameworks that clearly communicate product value propositions, customer benefits, differentiators, and market positioning.
• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to translate technical solutions into compelling business narratives and marketing programs.
• Develop marketing execution plans covering content strategy, digital campaigns, events, social media, search marketing, public relations, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Support sales enablement efforts by creating tools, resources, and materials that help sales teams communicate product value effectively.
• Conduct customer and market research to validate messaging, identify opportunities, and improve go-to-market effectiveness.
• Manage client engagements independently, ensuring successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a senior B2B product marketing professional with consulting experience, strong strategic capabilities, and a proven ability to deliver measurable marketing outcomes for technology companies.

• 5+ years of experience in B2B software product marketing.
• Proven experience developing positioning documents, messaging frameworks, and go-to-market plans.
• Experience working as an independent consultant for at least one year.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Strong understanding of product marketing principles, buyer journeys, market research, and competitive analysis.
• Experience creating sales enablement materials and supporting revenue teams.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working remotely and collaborating effectively in virtual environments.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Experience with technologies such as SaaS, cloud services, cybersecurity, enterprise software, analytics, AI/machine learning, DevOps, IoT, collaboration platforms, or IT infrastructure is preferred.
• Experience across industries such as financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, energy, retail, or government is a plus.
• Ability to commit to a 3-6 month contract engagement, with potential for longer-term collaboration.
