As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the Growth team, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating marketplace expansion by optimizing user acquisition, improving conversion funnels, and unlocking new channels for growth. You will work in a high-velocity, experimentation-driven environment, designing and shipping A/B tests, implementing complex tracking, and iterating rapidly based on data insights. This role spans the full stack—from building high-performance frontend experiences to developing backend logic for attribution, notifications, and analytics—ensuring that user engagement and bookings are maximized. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and marketing technologists, while mentoring team members and shaping technical best practices. This position is ideal for engineers who thrive in data-driven environments and enjoy leveraging innovative technologies, including agentic AI tools, to accelerate experimentation and impact.
Accountabilities
Architect, deploy, and maintain full-stack A/B tests and multivariate experiments across the user journey, including landing pages, search, listing details, and checkout.
Identify drop-off points in acquisition flows and engineer solutions to reduce friction and improve conversion rates.
Build and manage technical infrastructure for SEO (programmatic landing pages), referral programs, and marketing technology integrations (e.g., email/SMS via Twilio/SendGrid).
Own instrumentation and analytics tracking to ensure accurate measurement of feature impact.
Collaborate closely with Growth Product Managers and Designers to scope experiments and provide technical guidance on feasibility.
Mentor mid-level engineers, balancing rapid experimentation with long-term maintainable code.
Requirements
5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, with a focus on growth, acquisition, or marketing technology.
Expertise in React for building performant, responsive user interfaces.
Strong backend experience with Node.js and/or Clojure; familiarity with MongoDB or similar databases.
Experience with A/B testing frameworks (e.g., Statsig) and feature flagging.
Proficiency in analytics tracking (e.g., Segment) and SQL for analyzing experiment results.
Knowledge of technical SEO concepts, page performance optimization, and Core Web Vitals.
Comfort leveraging AI tools to accelerate development, testing, and iteration.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and mentorship skills, with a growth-focused mindset.
