This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Director) in the United States.
This role offers the opportunity to lead full-stack development initiatives for complex, data-intensive applications in a high-impact, fast-paced environment. As a Director-Level Engineer, you will design and build scalable solutions, mentor other engineers, and influence architectural decisions across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product, design, and business stakeholders—to deliver intuitive user interfaces and robust back-end systems. The role requires balancing multiple initiatives while driving innovation, maintaining high-quality standards, and adopting emerging technologies. This position offers the chance to shape technical direction, optimize performance, and enhance user experiences for sophisticated applications in the investment technology space.
Accountabilities
Design, develop, and enhance full-stack features and custom UI components using modern frameworks and tools.
Lead architectural decisions and implement scalable, high-availability solutions across front-end and back-end systems.
Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into production-ready applications.
Build high-quality front-end applications using React, TypeScript, Material Design, and modern component libraries.
Develop, test, and deploy applications within AWS environments using Docker and microservices architectures.
Implement security best practices, token-based authentication, and modern deployment workflows.
Mentor and guide engineering teams, foster collaboration, and promote engineering excellence.
Conduct code reviews, implement automated testing, and ensure continuous improvement across the stack.
Requirements
10+ years of full-stack development experience in high-scale or data-intensive environments.
Expert proficiency with React/Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, TurboRepo, and modern front-end frameworks.
Hands-on experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, Docker, and AWS cloud services.
Strong UI/UX design awareness and ability to collaborate with design teams to deliver intuitive applications.
Proficiency in Git, enterprise version control workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like Cypress, Vitest, or Testcontainers.
Familiarity with modern security concepts, authentication, and authorization best practices.
Preferred: experience with Figma, ReactFlow, Redux, microservices decomposition, SAFe Agile methodology, and AI-assisted development workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
