This role provides an exciting opportunity to leverage data science to drive impactful decisions across product, clinical, and business domains. You will work with diverse datasets, including healthcare claims, EHR, and operational data, to uncover insights that directly influence product strategy and business outcomes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will lead complex analyses, design predictive and optimization models, and mentor junior team members. Your work will help shape clinical and operational strategies while promoting a data-driven culture. Accountabilities:
- Lead strategic data science initiatives that inform product development, clinical decisions, and business outcomes
- Manage data science milestones, gather requirements, and identify opportunities or risks across multiple data sources
- Conduct in-depth analyses using advanced statistical and machine learning methods to drive insights and ROI
- Design and implement causal inference studies, predictive models, and optimization frameworks using healthcare and operational datasets
- Present findings through compelling visualizations and translate results into actionable recommendations for business and clinical stakeholders
- Mentor junior data scientists, conduct code reviews, and support best practices in modeling, analytics, and communication
- Explore and implement cutting-edge technologies, including LLMs and stochastic optimization, to improve decision-making efficiency
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on data science experience in healthcare analytics, population health, or related fields where health outcomes are critical
- Demonstrated leadership in data science projects with measurable impact on product strategy or business outcomes
- Strong ability to translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements and communicate data-driven insights to non-technical audiences
- Expertise in predictive modeling, causal inference, statistical analysis, and optimization methods
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Scala, and/or Spark SQL; experience with graph databases is a plus
- Experience working with EMR, claims, and social determinants of health (SDOH) data
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Kibana
- MSc or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience with LLM prompt engineering and context optimization is preferred
