This role offers the chance to join a dynamic security team focused on protecting mission-critical systems and sensitive data. As a SecOps Engineer, you will strengthen cloud security infrastructure, advance identity management initiatives, and support Zero Trust architecture and AI-driven security measures. You will take a hands-on approach to incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The position emphasizes both technical expertise and strategic input, providing significant impact on overall security posture. Accountabilities
Enhance security monitoring and incident response processes across cloud infrastructure.
Support vulnerability management programs and coordinate remediation efforts.
Optimize and maintain security tooling, including SIEM, EDR, and cloud security platforms.
Refine incident response procedures and security runbooks.
Conduct security investigations and forensics as needed.
Expand Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations and strengthen identity management systems.
Advance Zero Trust architecture and evaluate AI-specific security controls.
Support SOC2 compliance programs, vendor security assessments, and enterprise security questionnaires.
Provide technical security expertise to internal teams and customer-facing engagements.
Contribute to automation of security processes and modernization of authentication and authorization systems.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in security operations, security engineering, or related roles.
Hands-on experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Proficiency with identity management and SSO systems.
Track record of managing security incidents from detection to resolution.
Familiarity with security compliance frameworks such as SOC2 or ISO 27001.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages for automation.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and DevSecOps practices.
Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and practical implementation.
Strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus: experience with AI/ML security, customer-facing security audits, relevant certifications (CISSP, Security+, AWS Security), or prior work in high-growth startup or social impact technology environments.
