This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a QAQC Engineer - ICX in the United States.
This role provides critical inspection, testing, and quality assurance support for electrical, mechanical, and MEP systems in mission-critical construction environments. The QAQC Engineer ensures that all construction work meets stringent quality standards and complies with project specifications. This position involves significant travel to multiple project sites across the U.S., collaborating closely with internal teams, contractors, and clients. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings clearly. Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects, ensuring safety, reliability, and performance of advanced facilities.
Accountabilities
Read, interpret, and apply documents such as safety rules, site drawings, specifications, and procedure manuals.
Conduct inspections, examinations, and tests of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems and record results accurately.
Ensure measuring and test equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
Prepare and present reports, correspondence, and technical documentation for stakeholders.
Coordinate daily activities with internal and external personnel and review QA/QC plans and schedules.
Set up inspections, examinations, and tests, ensuring compliance with project standards.
Support quality assurance practices in mission-critical construction environments and maintain rigorous attention to detail.
Requirements
Education: High school diploma/GED with 2 months related experience or Associate Degree with 1+ month relevant experience.
Experience: Familiarity with construction, MEP systems, and mission-critical environments preferred.
Visual Acuity: Ability to meet Snellen fraction threshold of 20/30 for near and far vision; normal color and contrast perception.
Technical Skills: Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and Ajera experience preferred; proficiency in budgeting and forecasting.
Math Skills: Ability to calculate percentages, proportions, and other relevant figures.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to provide clear instructions and professional correspondence.
Organizational Skills: Excellent planning, scheduling, and time management capabilities.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, move in rugged terrain, handle test equipment up to 30 pounds, and perform strenuous physical activity.
Travel: Willingness and ability to travel 50-75% to project sites as needed.
