Accountabilities

• Manage multiple permitting projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are consistently met
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance throughout complex permitting processes
• Develop a deep understanding of local building codes, zoning regulations, and jurisdictional requirements across various markets
• Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and regulatory challenges, implementing solutions to keep projects on track
• Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal authorities to facilitate smoother and faster approvals
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and leadership teams to improve tools, workflows, and service delivery
• Contribute to the development of best practices and scalable processes to enhance permitting efficiency
• Ensure clear communication and reporting on project status, risks, and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in architecture, construction, permitting, or a closely related domain
• Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting workflows across multiple jurisdictions
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in parallel while maintaining high attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and public officials
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
• Comfortable working with digital tools and platforms, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
