One of our companies is currently looking for a Product Designer, Renter in the United States.
As a Product Designer focused on the Renter pillar, you will play a key role in designing and enhancing consumer-facing products across web, mobile, and native applications, aiming to improve the renter journey and provide delightful user experiences. Your contributions will directly impact the development of intuitive, user-friendly products while working closely with the Design, Product, and Engineering teams. You will take ownership of the entire design process, from research through to final asset creation, ensuring our products meet both user needs and business goals. Additionally, you'll help evolve the Global Design System, ensuring consistency and innovation across platforms.
Accountabilities:
- Design end-to-end renter-facing products across multiple platforms (desktop web, mobile web, iOS, Android)
- Collaborate with the Design leadership to evolve and maintain the Global Design System
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights, propose design improvements, and refine the product experience
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Analytics) to ensure smooth execution of product strategies and align with business goals
- Create pixel-perfect, high-quality visual designs while ensuring consistency and ease of use
- Contribute to the development of new features and iterate on existing ones, providing actionable insights that enhance product functionality and user experience
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing web and mobile applications you've shipped
- Expertise in interaction design, with a deep understanding of platform-specific design patterns
- Proficiency in prototyping for both web and native platforms, demonstrating strong design execution
- Strong passion for user-centered design and the ability to advocate for both user and business goals
- Business acumen to balance user needs with business objectives effectively
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
- A degree in design or HCI is preferred but not required
