This role is designed for a senior engineering leader who will drive the architecture, development, and adoption of AI-driven systems and agentic experiences. You will shape the end-to-end platform, from backend reasoning systems to dynamic front-end interfaces, while establishing frameworks that ensure scalable, auditable, and user-centric AI behavior. The position offers the opportunity to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence engineering best practices, and mentor teams to leverage AI-enhanced development tools. This role emphasizes innovation, technical excellence, and the ability to translate complex AI concepts into impactful, real-world applications. Candidates will collaborate with AI, product, and design teams to deliver safe, scalable, and intelligent systems across diverse domains.
Accountabilities
- Architect, develop, and guide agentic systems from backend reasoning engines to interactive front-end visualizations
- Define long-term frameworks and best practices for safe, auditable, and scalable AI-driven interactions
- Lead design reviews, code quality initiatives, and adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices across teams
- Collaborate with product, AI platform, and design teams to ensure usability, trust, and technical scalability
- Mentor engineers at all levels to promote a culture of innovation, technical rigor, and AI-enhanced development
- Drive architectural strategy and influence organization-wide adoption of AI-enabled development workflows
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience building scalable, distributed systems and interactive front-end applications
- Proficient in full stack technologies such as TypeScript, Go, Java, or Python, with strong expertise in React, Next.js, or similar frameworks
- 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
- Experience with agentic or event-driven orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, Swarm, CrewAI) is a plus
- Strong understanding of large-scale API design, observability, and system reliability
- Demonstrated leadership in AI-enabled development practices and influencing engineering teams
- Ability to define long-term architectural strategies and guide organization-wide technical decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis
