This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the development and growth of connected hardware products that improve everyday life for families. You will own the product vision and roadmap for device experiences, driving innovation from customer discovery through research, design, and full lifecycle execution. Collaborating closely with hardware engineering, firmware, design, and operations teams, you will deliver devices that are reliable, scalable, and intuitive. You will define success metrics, prioritize trade-offs, and evangelize the product vision across teams while ensuring a seamless integration with software and mobile platforms. This position allows you to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment that directly impacts millions of users.

Accountabilities

Own and manage one or multiple device product verticals throughout the entire lifecycle, from concept to launch and ongoing optimization
Identify customer needs and pain points, define compelling product visions, and develop roadmaps that deliver measurable value
Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, firmware, software, design, operations, marketing, and sales teams to ensure holistic product execution
Define and monitor key performance indicators including customer-centric metrics, margin, revenue, subscription impact, and device adoption
Make informed trade-off decisions balancing UX, cost, technical constraints, and scheduling priorities
Evangelize product strategy internally and externally, acting as the voice of the customer and guiding device portfolio decisions

Requirements

10+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years leading connected device or hardware products from concept to launch
Proven success managing full product lifecycles, including discovery, roadmap creation, go-to-market, and continuous optimization
Strong understanding of hardware and software development processes, including firmware, mobile integration, and manufacturing considerations
Experience defining product strategy and vision grounded in customer insights, data, and business objectives
Ability to synthesize complex trade-offs across user experience, cost, schedule, and technical constraints
Demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, operations, marketing, and finance
Analytical mindset with experience owning KPIs such as margin, attach rate, retention, or subscription conversion
Excellent communication, storytelling, and influencing skills to align stakeholders and evangelize product vision
Comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Passion for delivering products that connect and protect families, pets, and personal belongings
