We are currently looking for a Principal Hardware Design Engineer in the United States.

In this role, you will join a highly skilled engineering team designing advanced electronic systems that power complex, high-performance applications. You will lead architecture, circuit design, and integration efforts across digital, analog, and power domains while shaping design specifications and guiding technical decisions from concept to production. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies including high-speed interfaces, RF, FPGA development, and embedded systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, support system bring-up, and ensure compliance, reliability, and performance standards are met. This is an ideal role for a seasoned hardware expert looking to drive innovation and mentor others within a dynamic engineering environment.

• Accountabilities:
• Lead the development of functional design specifications and define project design scope.
• Design digital, analog, and power circuits using technologies including PCIe, DDR, microprocessors, DSPs, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, USB, CSI, DSI, and more.
• Provide schematic capture, layout guidance, and oversight of PCB design processes.
• Perform or oversee signal and power integrity analysis and support EMC/CE/UL compliance.
• Develop FPGA/CPLD designs in Verilog/VHDL, including test benches and verification.
• Drive prototype bring-up, debugging, and system integration.
• Create test plans/methods to validate reliability, performance, and product readiness.
• Contribute to firmware/software development and interface closely with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in hardware engineering and complex electronics development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Expertise with tools such as Siemens DxDesigner (preferred), Altium, or Xpedition-DxDesigner.
• Experience applying formal project management and systems engineering methodologies.
• Background in aerospace or defense engineering is a plus.
• Knowledge across digital/analog design, RF (preferred), FPGA development, system integration, and high-speed interfaces.
