This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Engineer - Virtual Integration & Verification in India.

This role provides a unique opportunity to lead advanced system integration and verification efforts in a high-tech engineering environment. As a Principal Engineer, you will develop and validate virtual testbeds, build complex simulations, and ensure seamless system interoperability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze system behavior, identify design issues, and implement model-based solutions using cutting-edge tools. The position allows hands-on technical leadership, providing guidance on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Processor-in-the-Loop (PIL) simulations while contributing to the standardization and optimization of engineering workflows. You will have a direct impact on the reliability, performance, and innovation of aerospace or automotive systems.

Accountabilities
Develop and maintain complex virtual integration and verification testbenches for systems under test.
Execute test scenarios, analyze results, and identify design or functional issues using virtual simulation techniques.
Integrate systems and tools via standard APIs to enable smooth data exchange and model interoperability.
Automate testing and orchestration using scripting languages such as Python and C++.
Apply expertise in MATLAB, Simulink, and Cameo Systems Modeler for system modeling, validation, and maintenance.
Conduct requirements and architecture modeling using SysML and Cameo.
Support Digital Engineering initiatives, establishing end-to-end model-based workflows and virtualized test environments.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical leadership to engineering teams, ensuring high standards of quality and process compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, or Instrumentation Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in aerospace or automotive system development and verification.
Hands-on experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and model-based design methodologies.
Proficiency in Python, C++, and scripting for automation and test orchestration.
Experience with HIL/PIL simulations and test equipment virtualization.
Strong understanding of Digital Engineering solutions and model-based workflows.
Experience in system requirements modeling, architecture validation, and stakeholder management.
Preferred: knowledge of DO-178C, DO-331, ARP4754A/B standards, configuration management, model governance, and test automation frameworks.
