One of our companies is currently looking for a Platform Software Engineer in Turkey.

As a Platform Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining the foundational infrastructure that supports large-scale distributed systems. You’ll work on developing highly available, scalable, and secure microservices, and manage service-to-service traffic for both internal systems and customer-facing interfaces. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication strategies, routing, and infrastructure automation. Accountabilities

  • Define and implement communication strategies, routing, and load balancing in a distributed microservices environment.
  • Design and scale platform components to ensure high availability and performance across services.
  • Implement canary rollouts, service mesh controls, and security best practices for cloud-based deployments.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate platform services with product development pipelines.
  • Monitor and optimize infrastructure health using observability tools to ensure platform stability and performance.
  • Contribute to the evolution and modernization of platform architecture using IaC and container orchestration tools.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure timely resolution of platform incidents and alerts.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally in a cloud-native or SaaS environment.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, or Node.js.
  • Hands-on experience deploying applications on cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio), and traffic engineering principles.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and monitoring tools like Datadog.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable solutions.
