This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing team of systems engineers serving the State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) vertical. You will drive the technical strategy, oversee the design and implementation of complex infrastructure solutions, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients across the region. This position blends leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and strategic vision to ensure that innovative solutions meet client objectives and industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and stay ahead of technology trends to maintain competitive advantage. The role requires strong leadership skills, deep understanding of the SLED market, and a passion for delivering high-impact solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Accountabilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of systems engineers to deliver successful project execution and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to define and execute technical strategies tailored to SLED clients.
• Serve as a technical advisor, providing guidance on solutions that meet client objectives and industry best practices.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of complex systems and infrastructure projects.
• Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional growth within the engineering team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on the SLED vertical.
• Proven experience managing and mentoring technical teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of SLED market dynamics, trends, and unique challenges.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams.
• Technical expertise in networking, cloud computing, security, and infrastructure design.
• Strong communication skills, able to interact effectively with clients, executives, and internal stakeholders.
• Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
