Lead Software Engineer

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable web applications that handle complex data and analytics workloads. You will lead both frontend and backend initiatives, architecting APIs, data pipelines, and microservices while ensuring performance, security, and maintainability at scale. Collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams, you will translate complex requirements into functional, high-quality software solutions. This role requires both technical depth and leadership ability to guide teams, mentor engineers, and implement best practices in a fast-paced, innovative environment that values collaboration and global impact.

Accountabilities

• Lead the development of robust, scalable, and maintainable web applications across frontend and backend.
• Architect and manage API-driven services to support complex analytics and data-intensive applications.
• Build and oversee end-to-end data ingestion pipelines integrating multiple, diverse data sources.
• Design and optimize microservices, data models, and platform architecture for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into advanced application solutions.
• Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and enforce software engineering best practices.
• Ensure secure, performant, and high-quality application delivery at scale.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including leading teams in B2B SaaS or analytics-focused applications.
• Expertise in backend frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Java, or .Net, and frontend frameworks like React, with strong knowledge of state management and performance optimization.
• Extensive experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), data pipelines, and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of API design (REST, GraphQL), security, and versioning standards.
• Proven ability to architect and manage complex application architectures and guide technical initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills in a remote or collaborative environment.
• Experience with data visualization, handling structured/unstructured data, and implementing advanced analytical applications is a plus.
