We are seeking a Lead Product Designer to drive the creation of user-centric, cross-platform applications that deliver seamless experiences for both technical and non-technical users. This role combines hands-on design execution with system-level thinking, shaping UI/UX across mobile, web, and administrative platforms. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and security experts to translate complex requirements into intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling interfaces. Success in this role requires a strong design vision, leadership capabilities, and the ability to guide a design team while maintaining consistency across platforms. You will also contribute to building a scalable design system and refining internal design processes. Accountabilities:
- Lead and oversee the design team, coordinating work across full-time employees and contractors
- Design and deliver wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for multiple applications, including mobile apps, client portals, and internal admin tools
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure designs align with user needs and business objectives
- Translate complex technical and security requirements into intuitive and user-friendly interfaces
- Develop and maintain a tokenized design system and multi-platform design architecture
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and iterate on solutions
- Present design concepts to cross-functional teams, gather feedback, and refine deliverables in fast-paced cycles
- Stay informed about industry trends, accessibility standards, and emerging UX best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise applications
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD (Figma strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing, particularly with high-stakes or sensitive user groups
- Familiarity with designing secure and privacy-focused applications
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving capabilities
