Accountabilities
Configure, maintain, and optimize corporate VPNs, firewalls, and network equipment to ensure secure connectivity.
Manage office and remote network setups, creating a scalable and reliable environment for a distributed workforce.
Provision and de-provision user accounts across company systems (SSO, email, productivity tools) and manage identity/access integrations.
Centralize software procurement, licensing, and distribution, and oversee device deployment and inventory management.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal IT support, maintaining helpdesk processes and resolving technical issues efficiently.
Lead IT compliance initiatives, including SOC 2, GDPR, and HIPAA, implementing best practices for endpoint security, MFA, and data protection.
Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation, supporting standardization, knowledge sharing, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate on IT strategy, identifying automation opportunities, scaling infrastructure, and optimizing processes to support organizational growth.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in IT Systems Administration or a similar technical role.
Strong hands-on expertise with networking, VPNs, endpoint security, and identity/access management solutions (e.g., Okta, Google Workspace).
Experience managing enterprise IT environments, including device provisioning with tools like Rippling and mobile device management platforms (e.g., Hexnode, Jamf, Intune).
Knowledge of zero trust frameworks and experience supporting global remote workforces.
Proven ability to handle SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, or similar compliance audits.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable collaborating across distributed teams.
Preferred: startup experience, scripting/automation skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python), and relevant IT certifications (CompTIA Security+, CCNA, etc.).
