This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Group Director, Influencer Marketing in the United States.

This senior leadership role drives strategy, operations, and growth for a high-performing influencer marketing team. The successful candidate will oversee multiple client accounts, develop innovative processes, and ensure the team delivers exceptional campaigns with measurable business impact. This position blends client-facing responsibilities with internal leadership, providing guidance, mentorship, and operational excellence. You will collaborate across internal stakeholders and departments to ensure alignment, optimize workflows, and maintain compliance. By leading strategy, business development, and team performance, you will play a key role in shaping the direction and success of influencer marketing initiatives. The role balances strategic vision with hands-on management in a supportive, people-first environment, with partial in-office presence required.

  • Accountabilities:
  • Oversee multiple influencer marketing client accounts, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality strategies and campaigns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, guiding teams to achieve client objectives efficiently.
  • Design and implement processes, tools, and systems to improve team productivity and operational effectiveness.
  • Manage compliance for accounts, including legal, FTC, and client-specific requirements.
  • Lead new business proposals and pitches, developing strategies and presenting to prospective clients.
  • Track revenue, identify growth opportunities, and report on financial performance to leadership.
  • Mentor and manage team members at multiple levels, fostering collaboration and resolving conflicts.
  • Represent the influencer marketing function across organizational initiatives and broader meetings.
  • Requirements:
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in agency environments.
  • 5+ years of account leadership managing multiple accounts with proven client relationship skills.
  • 5+ years in social/digital marketing and influencer marketing.
  • Knowledge of influencer contracting, platforms, and performance metrics for paid/earned/owned media.
  • Familiarity with influencer management platforms (e.g., Creator IQ, Captiv8) and CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow business, develop strategies, and lead multi-member teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a people-focused approach.
  • Comfort with hybrid or remote work, self-sufficiency, and flexible collaboration.
