We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer II to join a dynamic team focused on creating innovative learning experiences that impact millions of users. In this role, you will develop and maintain modern web applications, contribute to both frontend and backend systems, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. The position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, continuously learn and grow, and have a direct impact on a rapidly expanding educational ecosystem. This is a fully remote role, providing flexibility while contributing to meaningful projects that enhance education across Brazil. You will participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and the evolution of applications, including web and desktop solutions.
Accountabilities
- Develop new functionalities for web-based systems and maintain existing applications, ensuring stability and quality
- Build modern user interfaces with Vue.js and support backend development using PHP or Node.js
- Participate in bug analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution to enhance system reliability
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code following best practices
- Collaborate with the team on version control, testing, and continuous integration processes
- Conduct code reviews and engage in technical discussions to maintain coding standards
- Support the development and evolution of desktop applications using Electron (PWA)
- Continuously learn and apply new technologies to improve the platform and development processes
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of web development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Frontend experience with Vue.js
- Backend experience with PHP or Node.js
- Experience with relational databases, preferably MySQL
- Daily use of Git for version control
- Basic familiarity with Redis, DynamoDB, MongoDB, AWS S3, Lambda, and observability tools like Datadog or Grafana
