Accountabilities:

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of frontend and backend systems with a focus on innovative solutions
Optimize performance across the full technology stack
Create and maintain reusable components and services
Plan and execute complex assignments independently while contributing to overall project goals
Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project integration
Contribute to improving code quality, processes, and project delivery timelines

Requirements:

5–7 years of professional software engineering experience in a team environment
Proficiency with WordPress as a CMS
Strong skills in full-stack technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, NextJS, and AWS
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
Strong understanding of software development at scale and a product mindset
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in EST timezone
Positive references from previous managers or teammates
College degree is a plus

Preferred Skills:

Experience with GCP
Experience with internationalization and localization
Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment
