This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Frontend Software Engineer II in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a scalable, modern frontend platform that powers applications for employees, consumers, and enterprise customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build accessible, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces while optimizing GraphQL interactions and ensuring high code quality. This position combines hands-on development with collaboration across design, product, and backend teams, providing a chance to influence both the architecture and user experience of critical frontend systems. Ideal candidates are skilled in React and Remix (or similar SSR frameworks) and are passionate about building high-quality, maintainable, and performant frontend solutions.

Accountabilities

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable, responsive, and user-friendly frontend applications using React and Remix
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver features that meet both user and business needs
  • Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code stability and quality
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards
  • Manage build and deployment pipelines using tools like NX and CircleCI for efficient continuous integration and deployment
  • Work with GraphQL infrastructure to optimize data fetching and integration with backend systems
  • Contribute to the frontend platform architecture, enabling scalability and maintainability for future features

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong proficiency in React and Remix (or similar SSR frameworks like Next.js)
  • Experience with GraphQL for querying backend services efficiently
  • Ability to implement accessible, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces
  • Proficient in unit and integration testing (e.g., Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library)
  • Experience managing build and deployment pipelines and version control using Git
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity or interest in scalable frontend architectures to support evolving platform needs
