As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing engineering team focused on delivering innovative and secure digital asset solutions. You will be responsible for the growth, development, and well-being of your team while driving operational excellence and technical strategy. This role requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise, strong leadership, and cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and operations teams. You will oversee the execution of complex engineering projects, mentor engineers, and help shape both the team’s and organization’s engineering roadmap. Accountabilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, overseeing quality of execution, timely delivery, and technical impact.
• Mentor, coach, and support career growth for engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Define and drive engineering processes, best practices, and operational excellence across the team.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to align technical execution with business goals.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain high-caliber engineers, contributing to the scaling and health of the engineering organization.
• Act as a technical advisor, providing guidance on complex engineering challenges, architectural decisions, and system design.
• Influence organizational strategy around engineering growth, talent development, and technical direction.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of formal leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Proven ability to lead distributed teams and collaborate across time zones.
• Experience managing engineering teams within blockchain or crypto-related domains is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with technical recruiting, mentorship, and conducting technical interviews.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to dive into complex technical challenges, and excellent judgment in decision-making.
• Familiarity with applied cryptography, blockchain protocols, and modern programming languages (Go, Rust, TypeScript, Solidity) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and guide team development.
