For one of our clients, we are looking for an Engineering Infrastructure Project Manager, remotely from the United States and Canada.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop project plans, manage scope changes, and conduct risk management analysis to ensure successful outcomes. With a focus on project progress, you will monitor metrics, identify issues, and communicate progress to stakeholders. You will also utilize various project management methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall, to deliver results efficiently.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage engineering infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with client and organizational goals
- Develop and execute detailed project plans, managing scope, schedules, and budgets throughout the project lifecycle
- Regularly report on project progress, addressing any risks or delays promptly to keep projects on track
- Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders, including business analysts, architects, and project sponsors, to ensure smooth communication and project success
- Proactively manage project issues and scope changes, ensuring compliance with both client and internal project requirements
- Conduct risk management assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential obstacles
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a Project Management role with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Strong experience in managing infrastructure projects, including cloud migrations
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, PMI, and PRINCE2
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with internal teams and client stakeholders
- Previous experience in consulting or R&D infrastructure projects is a plus
- Ability to balance critical issue resolution with competing project priorities
