  • Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and product analyses to ensure design integrity.

  • Conduct product characterization and verification through comprehensive testing.

  • Participate in DFM (Design for Manufacturing) activities, production transitions, and manufacturing support.

  • Guide and review the work of remote engineering resources and mentor junior engineers.

  • Support product compliance with EMI/EMC, UL, UN, CE, IEC, and military standards.

  • Travel domestically and internationally (<10%) as required for project support.

  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in design engineering, including hardware and firmware development.

  • Hands-on experience with ECAD tools for schematic capture and board layout, preferably Altium.

  • Knowledge of low-power microcontroller firmware development and testing.

  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN Bus, SMBus, I2C, HDQ, DQ, RS232/485.

  • Understanding of EMI/EMC design principles and relevant commercial/military standards.

  • Experience in manufacturing transition, process implementation, and product failure analysis.

  • Knowledge of ISO requirements related to product design, documentation, and manufacturing processes.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and ability to multitask effectively.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborative, global team environments.

  • Benefits

  • Competitive salary range ($95,000–$115,000 annually).

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.

  • Opportunities for professional development and mentorship.

  • Flexible work environment with remote work options.
