In this role, you will lead the strategy, delivery, and operational excellence of enterprise platform engineering capabilities. You will drive innovation and scalability across cloud-native platforms and data ecosystems that enable digital transformation. This position involves overseeing platform architecture, engineering practices, vendor partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure platforms are secure, efficient, and aligned with long-term strategic goals. You will manage a large engineering organization, deliver measurable business impact, and foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement. The role requires balancing technical leadership with financial stewardship, operational rigor, and strategic execution. Collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams is essential to advance platform adoption, performance, and innovation at scale.

• Accountabilities:

• • Lead strategy and execution of enterprise platform engineering capabilities, ensuring platforms are secure, scalable, and modernized.

• • Define and implement cloud and platform strategies that align with long-term enterprise objectives.

• • Oversee platform architecture, engineering practices, and cross-functional integration to drive operational excellence.

• • Build strong partnerships across product, engineering, governance, and business teams to resolve overlaps and unify outcomes.

• • Manage improvements in engineering practices, including AI-assisted tools, DevOps automation, and developer experience.

• • Direct vendor and ecosystem engagement, including resource planning, contract negotiations, and innovation initiatives.

• • Lead a large engineering organization, fostering a culture of inclusion, learning, and accountability.

• • Manage multi-million-dollar budgets, delivering cost optimization while maintaining platform performance.

• • Apply architectural thinking and systems-level problem-solving in high-pressure situations, including incident response.

• • Drive adoption of enterprise-scale platforms and monitor performance, resilience, and scalability metrics.

• Requirements:

• • 10+ years of progressive experience in platform engineering, software development, or cloud architecture.

• • 8+ years of leadership experience managing large engineering teams and complex technology programs.

• • Proven ability to manage $30M+ portfolios and deliver enterprise-scale technology transformations.

• • Deep technical expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), data ecosystems (Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka, DBT, Prefect), and full-stack systems.

• • Demonstrated success in platform adoption, cost optimization, and engineering maturity.

• • Strong collaboration and communication skills to align cross-functional teams toward shared goals.

• • Experience fostering high-performing, inclusive engineering teams with career development and succession planning.

• • Preferred: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; experience in regulated environments; strong financial acumen; familiarity with enterprise architecture and digital transformation initiatives.

• • Willingness to travel occasionally for training or meetings.
