This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Associate Director, Influencer Marketing in the United States.

The Associate Director, Influencer Marketing will lead the strategy and execution of influencer partnerships, creator community growth, and campaign performance across multiple platforms. This role offers the opportunity to build a thriving ecosystem of creators, superfans, and advocates while driving measurable business results and brand engagement. You will oversee a team of four, guiding influencer sourcing, content development, and in-house contracting, as well as managing analytics, EMV growth, and campaign optimization. The position requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative vision, and operational leadership in a fast-paced, creator-driven environment. Success in this role demands deep expertise in beauty or consumer lifestyle ecosystems, strong relationships with creators and agencies, and the ability to translate storytelling into measurable brand impact. You will collaborate across marketing, creative, retail, and growth teams to ensure content authenticity, alignment, and cultural resonance.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive influencer marketing strategy aligned with brand launches, campaigns, and commercial priorities.
  • Build and nurture a multi-tier creator community, including superfans, micro/nano influencers, stylists, and top-tier creators.
  • Lead sourcing, vetting, and long-term relationship management for creators across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Oversee all influencer content creation, ensuring alignment with brand messaging, visual identity, and platform best practices.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of influencer campaigns, from strategy and briefing to execution, reporting, and optimization.
  • Lead talent contracting in-house, including negotiation, scopes, and usage rights.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Brand, PR, Retail, Creative, and Growth teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance using Tribe Dynamics and other analytics tools, providing actionable insights to guide future investments.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of four, fostering strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong creator relationships.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in influencer or creator marketing within beauty, luxury, or consumer lifestyle brands.
  • Proven expertise in EMV growth, influencer acquisition and retention, and platform-native content.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a team of at least 3+ direct reports.
  • Deep knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms, with an established network of creators and agency contacts.
  • Strong experience with paid media asset development, creator sourcing, briefing, and in-house contracting.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic and creative mindset with data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or relevant certifications a plus.
