This role offers the chance to design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based web applications while working in a highly collaborative, remote environment. You will build scalable, cloud-ready solutions using modern microservices architectures and contribute directly to improving system performance and reliability. The position allows for hands-on engagement with cutting-edge technologies including Spring Framework, AWS, and caching frameworks, while participating in the full software development lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, tackling complex challenges and optimizing applications to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business value. Accountabilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based web applications using Spring Framework.
Implement and manage microservices architectures for scalable solutions.
Deploy, monitor, and manage applications in AWS Cloud environments.
Utilize caching frameworks (e.g., Redis, Ehcache) to improve application performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, review code, troubleshoot, and optimize performance.
Document development processes and ensure best practices in software design and deployment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience developing and deploying Java web applications.
Strong proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented design.
Experience with Spring Framework, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and deployment processes.
Familiarity with caching frameworks and database design, including SQL.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with diverse teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
