Do you love designing for scale—solving complex, system-wide problems that connect products and create meaningful impact for home service businesses?
Then Jobber might be the place for you! We’re looking for a Staff Product Designer to join our Product Design team.
Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, electricians, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers, while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn’t like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That’s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want!
Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.
The team:
The “Work Smarter” group is one of the fastest-growing parts of Jobber, and a strategic priority for us as a company. We own our customer’s core workflows and believe we have the ability to supercharge our customer’s businesses, helping them achieve their goals and ultimately, better their lives. Whether it be growing their company’s revenue, employing more people and making a real difference in their community, or simply having time back in their schedule to enjoy time with family, Jobber’s Work Smarter teams are positioned to make a life changing impact on our customers.
The Jobs team is at the heart of Jobber’s Work Smarter vision. This team supports home service pros through their end-to-end workflow as they set up, manage, and complete jobs across teams, clients, and complex projects. Jobs is the single source of truth for how work gets done in Jobber — connecting quoting, scheduling, field execution, and invoicing into one continuous flow. As these businesses grow, Jobber scales with them, enabling pros to manage increasingly complex operations with clarity. The work is both technically and conceptually challenging, touching nearly every surface of the product, and is central to helping pros track progress, quality, and profitability with confidence.
The role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Design, you’ll be a design lead within a multidisciplinary triad, partnering closely with Product Managers and Engineers to achieve meaningful outcomes for our customers and the business. By balancing UI, UX, research, and content design, you’ll shape all parts of the user experience—connecting user needs, business goals, and system-level thinking into clear, scalable solutions that advance Jobber’s Work Smarter vision. You’ll design high-quality, user-centric experiences that are impactful and tailored to the unique needs of home service businesses.

Compensation:
At Jobber, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and supportive of your experience and growth. Our salary ranges are designed to reflect the progression from learning the role to truly excelling. This role has an annual salary of $169,200 CAD, a midpoint of $199,100 CAD, and a maximum salary of $228,900 CAD.
We design our compensation to reflect each new hire’s skills, experience, and the complexity of the role, ensuring a fair and competitive salary. Our range is intentionally broad to support growth and long-term impact, with fully established hires typically starting around the midpoint. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise and lasting contributions, while offers below the midpoint reflect strong potential with room to develop. This approach ensures that compensation aligns with both an individual’s current capabilities and their opportunity for future growth.
Base salary is just one part of a total compensation package that will include equity rewards, annual stipends for health and wellness, retirement savings matching, and an extended health package with fully paid premiums for body and mind. Your professional growth matters to us too! You’ll have access to a dedicated talent development program that includes career coaching and opportunities for career development.
We believe in transparency and open conversations about compensation. If you have any questions about our approach, we’re happy to discuss them throughout the hiring process!
