The Team:
Jobber’s Engineering team is looking for a new Leader to spearhead the Harbour Foundations team, within our Customer Experience (CX) Group. At Jobber our CX group is responsible for driving the transformation of our customer’s journey into a unified end-to-end experience. We do this by building systems and tooling that support personalized in-product customer experiences that are connected with our internal product that serves our go-to-market (GTM) teams powered by rich customer data, industry best practices, and AI.
The Harbour Foundations team is responsible for building our internal product, Harbour, that is purpose-built to enable our internal customers to do their job more effectively and efficiently. This team works directly with our internal customers including the support team, customer onboarding team, and sales team. Harbour leverages customer data and AI to create a powerful and centralized experience that gives real-time support to our internal teams as they service our customers.
The role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering, the Manager, Software Engineering - Harbour Foundations will directly manage engineers to support and develop their skills and careers, as we work together to empower small businesses.
As the Engineering Leader of our Harbour Foundations team, you will drive the development and maintenance of the technologies and features that empower internal teams across Jobber, while also contributing to customer-facing innovations that support our mission.
You’ll work alongside peers from Design, Product Management, Technical Program Management, and the rest of the Engineering Leadership team to ensure the foundations we build help us build delightful software for home and field service companies.

Compensation:
At Jobber, we also believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and supportive of your experience and growth. This role has a minimum annual salary of $169,200 CAD, a midpoint of $199,100 CAD, and a maximum salary of $228,900 CAD, designed to reflect the progression from learning the ropes to truly excelling.
We design our compensation to reflect each new hire's skills, experience, and the complexity of the role, ensuring a fair and competitive salary. Our range is intentionally broad to support growth and long-term impact, with fully established hires typically starting around the midpoint. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise and lasting contributions, while offers below the midpoint reflect strong potential with room to develop. This approach ensures that compensation aligns with both an individual's current capabilities and their opportunity for future growth.
