Graphic Designer

JJ Rhatigan & Company is one of Ireland’s leading Building Contractors, with operations throughout Ireland and the UK. We are seeking a creative Graphic Designer who thrives on collaboration and visual storytelling. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver impactful creative that elevates our identity. You will shape how the organisation communicates visually, creating compelling content that supports internal and external communications, enhances our employer brand and reinforces a strong credible brand presence that drives engagement and new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop creative solutions for a wide range of marketing and business materials, including digital and print proposals, presentations, infographics, proposals, brochures, flyers, banners, site signage and branded merchandise.
• Create engaging visual content to support external channels such as website social media and industry platforms as well as internal such as sharepoint and business applications ensuring content is aligned and brand standards and appealing to target audience.
• Collaborate with marketing team members and the wider business teams to deliver cohesive visual assets for campaigns, awards, conferences, events and employer brand initiatives.
• Translate ideas and information into clear engaging visual formats including compelling graphs, infographics, animations and visual narratives that enhance understanding and impact.
• Support the development of multimedia content, including video overlays, animations and interactive assets, working in partnership with internal teams and external agencies and suppliers.
• Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all visual outputs, maintaining a strong, credible and recognisable brand presence across the organisation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Video Editor, or similar creative role within a corporate, agency or professional services environment.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and video editing tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and After Effects or other similar in quality.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of graphic and video design work.
• Excellent visual storytelling skills with the ability to translate ideas and messages into clear engaging and impactful design for both internal and external audiences.
• Knowledge designing for digital and social media platform specific formats and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and incorporate feedback effectively.
• Strong time management and organisational skills for a fast pace environment
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles
