We're partnering with a fast-growing international technology business that's transforming how companies hire, pay and manage employees across more than 180 countries. They're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a highly experienced, remote-first engineering team working on complex, large-scale platform challenges.

This is an opportunity to work on a genuinely interesting product where your technical decisions will have a direct impact on businesses and employees around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of a major API-first platform transformation
• Design scalable services, APIs and data models for a modern SaaS platform
• Build end-to-end features across payroll, HR and compliance products
• Influence architecture, engineering standards and technical direction
• Mentor fellow engineers through code reviews and collaborative development
• Help evolve AI-assisted engineering practices and developer workflows

The engineering team embraces modern development practices, functional programming concepts, strong type safety, automated delivery pipelines and AI-powered software development.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience as a Senior Software Engineer or above
• Expert-level TypeScript in large-scale production environments
• Strong software architecture and API design experience
• Production experience with PostgreSQL, Kubernetes and Redis
• Experience within established engineering organisations
• Daily use of AI coding tools as part of your development workflow
• Located between GMT and GMT+3
