We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to lead the from-scratch rebuild of our mobile ecosystem. You will consolidate legacy apps into a high-performance React Native platform that thousands of hospitality workers rely on daily for schedules and pay. This is a high-ownership role focusing on reliability, offline-first architecture, and AI-driven development velocity.

What You Will Do

• Lead the end-to-end rebuild of the Nory Team mobile app in React Native and TypeScript, moving from legacy code to a modern platform in one to two quarters.
• Implement AI agents into your daily workflow to accelerate code generation while maintaining an exceptionally high bar for code craft and architectural standards.
• Design and maintain a robust mobile platform that functions perfectly under hostile conditions, including poor basement connectivity, low-spec hardware, and diverse accessibility needs.

The ideal candidate

• You have deep, senior-level experience shipping production-grade React Native applications in TypeScript, ideally with a background in HR-tech, payroll, or high-usage B2C products.
• You have a proven track record of leading major migrations or from-scratch builds, and you can clearly articulate your decisions regarding state management and offline synchronization.
• You possess strong product and UX taste, treating accessibility and reliability as core engineering requirements rather than afterthoughts, especially for users working in high-pressure environments.
