You will design, build, and scale production-grade ML systems that automate margin-critical decisions for thousands of restaurant shifts. Moving beyond notebooks, you'll own the end-to-end lifecycle—from problem framing to deployment and monitoring—creating intelligent forecasting and labor planning tools that replace guesswork with predictive analytics for global hospitality brands like Jamie Oliver Group.

Location: London, UK / Dublin, Ireland / Spain (Remote-first)

What you will do:

• Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle by designing, deploying, and monitoring production-grade services that power real-time demand forecasting and workforce optimization
• Build robust, observable ML pipelines and monitoring strategies to detect drift and ensure models maintain commercial value and accuracy in live operational environments
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to embed statistical models into seamless workflows that restaurant operators rely on daily to manage multi-million pound businesses

The ideal candidate:

• Proven track record of taking production ML systems from ambiguous concepts to revenue-impacting deployments, specifically within classical ML, forecasting, or time-series domains
• Advanced academic background (MSc/PhD) in applied statistics or quantitative reasoning with a "production-first" mindset and proficiency in writing clean, maintainable Python for shared codebases
• Strong systems thinker comfortable working across APIs, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure while measuring success through business metrics like automation rates and margin improvement
