You will take ownership of a live data environment, evolving a Redshift, dbt, and LightDash stack into a sophisticated analytical engine. Beyond maintaining reporting, you'll drive commercial value through cohort modelling and forecasting, helping the UK’s leading financial institutions proactively support over 1 million consumers through complex financial decisions.

What You Will Do

• Maintain and fix the data transformation layer in dbt and LightDash to ensure 100% trustworthy reporting for client-facing teams.
• Develop complex cohort-level forecasting and retention models to underpin board-level reporting for Tier-1 mortgage lenders.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to instrument new features and conduct rigorous experimentation analysis on user journeys.

The ideal candidate

• 3+ years in data analytics with expert-level SQL and Python (pandas/numpy) skills in a startup or scale-up environment.
• Hands-on experience building and testing transformation models in dbt within a cloud warehouse environment, preferably Redshift.
• Proven ability to navigate complex relational data structures (B2B2C/SaaS) and translate technical findings into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
