Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Developer to join our client's team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade applications using the OutSystems low-code platform. You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and other developers to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that accelerate digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality applications.
• Build responsive and user-friendly web and mobile interfaces.
• Integrate OutSystems applications with external systems, APIs, and databases.
• Ensure applications meet performance, security, and usability standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure clean and maintainable code.
• Support the deployment process, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancements to existing solutions.
• Stay up to date with OutSystems best practices, new features, and the broader low-code ecosystem.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an OutSystems Developer.
• Strong knowledge of OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, and Lifetime.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive design principles.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of application integration (REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• OutSystems certifications.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience working in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government) is a plus.
