We’re looking for a Software Engineer who focuses on improving software design, collaborating with their peers, and effectively communicating with other representatives of the business.

The Engineer will create, test, and evaluate software applications and systems to make them function according to specific requirements. This person must be able to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to deliver software products to the business.

This position requires hands-on experience in Java, along with frontend technologies like Angular (Typescript).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

Test software applications and systems.
Apply knowledge of computing systems and software structure.
Create flowcharts, diagrams, and other documentation.

Construct, deploy, and maintain general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
Design and implement system security and data assurance.
Provide support and guidance for peer programmers, as needed.
Ability to work collaboratively with software testers.
Ability to organize and maintain flexibility.
Ability to document requirements and specifications.
Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
Implement best practices in SW development, including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.

Minimum Qualifications.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences or related; or High School Degree/General Education Diploma
3 to 5+ years of experience.
Experience working with Agile teams.
Proven experience working with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Typescript.
Experience with SCSS is preferred but HTML5, CSS3, and LESS are also acceptable.
Strong experience with REST API and web services.
Experience with or at least knowledge of most of the advanced features of Angular, Spring boot, Spring, or any other Web API framework.
Have good knowledge of Unit testing REST APIs.
Excellent knowledge of databases, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
