How a Senior Software Engineer will Make an Impact:

• Collaborating with other developers and team members to deliver new functionality and solve complex software problems
• Support web developers by coding REST API endpoints that deliver JSON data to the front end.
• Work in an iterative team environment to deliver quality functionality to our customer
• Create applications which healthcare providers in Arkansas can use to improve their patient’s health.
• Using Spring MVC and Spring Boot, you will create methods and endpoints to retrieve and deliver data as required.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent degree/relevant experience

Required Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience working with the Java programming language in a web development setting.

Required Technical Skills:

• Must be familiar with Java J2EE Web servlet technology.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of the Spring MVC framework
• Must have a strong grasp of REST API standard HTTP methods and the Spring Boot framework
• Must have experience with an ORM framework such as Hibernate and/or Spring Data JPA
• Experience using a GIT repository tool such as Bitbucket or GitHub
