100% remote but MUST reside in an ISSA-eligible state: (AZ, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, MN, NC, NV, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI).

What is ISSA looking for?

We’re seeking a Marketing Manager, Paid Search lead our customer acquisition and demand generation efforts across three distinct brands with varied audience segments and buyer journeys. This role is ideal for a performance-driven marketer with a strong background in paid search and lead generation, who has hands-on experience managing campaigns in-house or at an agency.

You’ll manage day-to-day paid search operations across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, support continuous testing and optimization, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve conversion and lead quality. Another key part of your role will be supporting the day-to-day rhythms of the paid media team in addition to conversion rate optimization, as this role will focus on more than just traditional paid search.

So What's the Job?

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid search campaigns on Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, etc.
  • Ensure ad platform tracking is accurate while assisting in implementing new marketing tags & integrations.
  • Manage paid search budgets, bid strategies & testing process to maximize campaign performance and efficiency.
  • Support the Director of Paid Media Marketing in forecasting, proactively laddering up new opportunities or areas of concern to inform strategy and planning.
  • Lead and strategize CRO testing across marketing channels
  • Collaborate with product, data analytics, and other marketing team members to prioritize and test landing pages across brands & channels
  • Monitor, report, and analyze key performance metrics (CPA, ROAS, LTV, etc.) and provide actionable insights to optimize spending within Paid Search.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and platform updates to refine our paid search strategy. Particularly as it relates to AI and its effects on the search landscape.
  • Contribute to the execution and iteration of acquisition and demand generation strategies to meet business growth objectives for both lead generation for inside sales teams and self-service e-commerce purchases.
  • Continuously test and innovate new methods for customer acquisition and engagement.
  • Execute planned initiatives (campaigns, creatives, testing, etc) directly within Ad Platforms (Google, Microsoft, etc).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, data, and product teams to test and refine ad copy and landing pages for better performance.
  • Run A/B and multivariate tests to improve campaign efficiency and lead conversion.
  • Support a collaborative, data-driven, high-performance marketing culture.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in managing paid search campaigns, including Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation and conversion rate optimization.
  • A strong analytical mindset, able to make data-driven decisions and optimize campaigns for efficiency and scale.
  • Knowledge of attribution models, tracking, and reporting tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, MMM Tools, etc.).
  • Strong ability to manage budgets and forecast performance with a focus on ROI.
  • Experience working with marketing tags platforms (like Google Tag Manager) a plus
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments (DTC, e-learning, SaaS, or subscription-based businesses preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into insights and strategies.
